Prior to this act was the no child left behind act which was created in 2002 to "create an equal learning experience for all children". This act allowed parents to pull their children out of certain schools based on the testing performances of their children. Ive never personally thought about the testings in this way. After watching this video it became even more clear to me that every student/ child has different aspirations for their future's. Not every one is well rounded in every subject but this does not mean that they should have to fit in the box that was created for them.
