Highschool was way different from my experience with college. Highschool had a routine that everyone followed and school ended the same time everyday. I was more studious and able to complete assignments with ease. College is a lot more personal and holds your own self accountable for your success. It’s for the future. There’s more time to slack off in college and it provides more opportunities to decide what to do with your time. College is more serious.

☁️high school is different form college in terms of length and structure, high school classes are shorter but there are many more, in my experience a normal day was 7 classes, lunch, and extercurricular activities, now it’s more laid back, classes are farther apart and longer.

☁️Another difference is that most of the time in college you live on or off campus and with high school you get picked up and dropped off.

☁️high school and college are similar in the fact that they are both educational, and follow a structure. Just ones more expensive, most of the time people want to be at college aside from high school were it’s more required, like in collage you can skip your classes and your teachers don’t care as much not saying I do this or you should but collage there’s more independence and consequences for your actions as your now more independent.

I would say the differences between college and high school for me would be the how socially you are like at a summer camp and spend your days with most of the same people and sometimes you don’t always have alone time or your own personal space. I think academically there’s a lot less busywork in your major focused classes and a lot of your classes are connected and usually intertwining the same concepts.

I would say they are a like, to me, by how the assignments are assigned and the lectures are very similar to how they were at my high school.

College has a lot more freedom, you select what classes you take and when you take them and there is various different way you can fail college, whether it is not studying enough, studying too much, picking the wrong classes, picking too many classes, and even choose the wrong degree.

College is the next step for taking your education further and giving yourself an edge into the field that you decide to study. Both look like this when you are going through them. High School is more structure oriented, focused on getting you to that standard. And college is more or less what you make of it, it gives you freedom to use your time however you want to the same as it allows you to chose your major however you want to.
