My opinion is that research really is important simply not only in the context of school but in a day to day basis as well. Considering the fact that we are living in a digital day and age, more and more misinformation has been rapidly plaguing the minds of those uninformed which is unfortunate since social media is also one of the if not the biggest reason why fake news and misinformation is especially present nowadays.
Also to add, that more and more rely on the media for news and articles which could be easily interchangeable with half-baked and fabricated information if not critically analyzed and researched properly.
Now this hapless truth provides more evidence why learning how to research systematically and objectively is a necessity for all of us more so to the youth like us students to prevent and lessen the propagation of false knowledge with credible information through people and the media.

In today's world, research is a very crucial process everyone must undergo before spreading anything. Data and information can easily be plagiarized, forged, and pirated with our advanced technology. As a result, as individuals, we must outsmart any leading information we face. This simple action will prevent misleading information and data from deceiving everyone and creating chaos. Remember that a trustworthy website or publisher is insufficient evidence to believe the information in their posts. To determine whether the news, articles, or posts are reliable and accurate sources, a person must conduct extensive research. Systems can be easily hacked. Therefore, we must be skeptical and observant when reading anything on the internet.

- Bianca Galang
Saint Digna

Misinformation is everywhere nowadays, especially on different social media platforms and websites. Some information is getting revised; that's why people don't know the truth and what is not. Many people also try to plagiarize information and facts, which makes people have a hard time finding and knowing the truth. With this, research allows people to find the truth by verifying and fact-checking the data gathered. Searching for information on different websites and collecting all the information you have investigated and discovered will allow you to create new knowledge or concepts. Research is necessary because it lets you gather evidence to prove the truth. It also allows you to find a solution to a problem; that's why research enables you to check whether your collected details are reliable. Research helps the mind think analytically and critically because it challenges you to dig deeper to find a solution.

Research, in particular, involves the collection, organization, and analyzing the information to have a better grasp of the topic or issue. In my point of view, Research is important because with the help of research we can avoid having to obtain misinformations uploaded or given around the internet, and as we all know, false pieces of information are now scattered on all of the social media platforms and websites, and one way to avoid it is having to verify the data you just have acquired. Researching is necessary since we need to back up our initial research with proof that it is considered accurate. We do research in order not to only confirm the pieces of information we gained, but to also discover what else is in there and what else is behind the given topic. Lastly, Research simply feeds the curiosity of our puzzled minds, in short, it gives us answers to thoughts inside of our heads that are unclear.

The advancement of mankind is fueled by research. It is driven by curiosity; when we get interested in something, we start wondering about it and immersing ourselves in the process of learning all there is to know about it. In my opinion, as a student, research is very important because it provides me with the opportunity to improve my understanding of topics that I am already familiar with, as well as to learn about different topics and acquire new perspectives. In my experience, doing research really helps me to find the information I need for school requirements. Research enables me to become a more knowledgeable citizen. Furthermore, research is important to stop many types of wrongdoing, such as making things up, lying, and plagiarizing. Nowadays, misinformation may be quickly and easily spread over social media sites. This is why it's crucial to do research or an investigation that seeks to discover the truth. It will help people to increase their awareness of the truth and combat the spread of fake news. Without research, we would be ignorant and uneducated. We couldn't progress or comprehend.

Research is very important; it plays a vital role in our daily lives. Without proper research, nothing can be made and nothing can go further. The primary goals of research are to provide direction for action, compile supporting evidence for hypotheses, and make a contribution to the expansion of knowledge in a particular area of study. Through research, our understanding of certain issues will deepen and increase our public awareness. Misinformation is very rampant nowadays, which is why we always need to fact-check everything we see online for us to avoid being misled. This kind of conflict can entirely affect our society in different ways. Thus, research is not just important—it’s imperative.

With research, we would be able to develop our capabilities in decision-making as well as improvement of comprehension. Furthermore, it helps us differentiate truth from lies. As much as we want to avoid misinformation, it just spreads quickly on the internet with just one click therefore, it is our job to verify if the pieces of information are real or not with the help of research. Researching leads us to proof and datum that can support facts and stand-alone truth. With the shreds of evidence we obtained, we would be able to solve a problem, examine the topic, and develop our knowledge as to why research is important.

It has the power to uncover previously undiscovered information and develop novel viewpoints that challenge conventional wisdom. In order to properly analyze new concepts and make the best conclusion possible, research is a powerful tool. For practically every field, research is crucial to effective and efficient operation. A person can be highly educated and a true perfectionist, but in this dynamic world, everything is constantly changing, necessitating the use of newer information.

Yes. Research is important because it is necessary not just for students and academics, but also for all professions and nonprofessionals. Research is an essential, of course we want everything in our life to be facts. A factual proposition in an individual's thinking is frequently regarded as knowledge. It generally refers to facts that are based on objective insights and/or study findings that have been processed by the human brain. It may be gained via reading books and articles, listening to experts, watching documentaries or investigative shows, undertaking scientific experiments, and engaging with others. Facts gathered during research can be cross-referenced with other sources to guarantee their veracity and authenticity. There is always more to learn no matter what job sector you are in or how far up you are. The same may be said of your personal life. There are things you don't know, no matter how many experiences you've had or how wide your social circle is. Research reveals the unknowns, allows you to see the world from new angles, and fuels a deeper knowledge. In some fields, research is a critical component of success. In certain cases, it may not be strictly essential, but it offers several advantages.

Research is the process of gathering and building up information on a topic. It helps us uncover what we don't know, and apply layers upon layers of information to strengthen ideas. This is what has been helping us develop our society over the years. Almost everything that we use on a day-to-day basis is a fruit of research. Of course, without it, our lives would definitely be much different than what they are now. Humanity's milestones, such as the internet, aircraft, and even medical breakthroughs, would have never happened today if it weren't for the process of research. Still, in the modern society, research is highly needed. Our world revolves around knowledge, and in order to acquire accurate facts, thorough research is needed to be done. Research also comes into play when we fact-check pieces of information on the internet. With all of these reasons accounted for, it would be correct to say that research is a valued method that we need in order to grow and improve.

I have defined research in our previous activity as the cornerstone of all things and a helpful tool in a sea of vast ignorance, and I still stand by it. Research is what pushes humanity to keep moving forward and progress. It contributes to developing our knowledge of our world, nature, or even life outside earth. Our understanding, of why things are the way they are, what is responsible for all things happening, and how these things happen. Research can determine what happens in the future or what will happen next. Not only is Research important in the field of academia but also in the medical field and more. Though it is meticulous and takes long hours, weeks, or even years, research has brought about all inventions and information that we now know. Without it, we would not be where we are right now. In addition, we can even dismantle and combat misinformation and disinformation that is prominent in our society through research, people nowadays would instead acknowledge celebrities and influencers than licensed professionals. Hence, the research's credibility is being reduced because of this. Even if we don't see it everyday, researchers daily continue to thrive on helping our world without us even realizing it. Practicing research helps with our critical thinking skills and helps us become more analytical and logical regarding the information we obtain, and hone problem-solving skills that are applicable in our everyday lives. Lastly, research molds all of us into well-informed individuals in an ever-changing world.

For me, research is fundamental, especially in the writing industry. There are many factors why research is essential but the main reason why it is the most central aspect of writing is for us to know important information about the things that we write about. We all know that we would write things that are based on facts and not writing about false truth so we research for us to know the truth and to gain more information about a said topic. It could also let us grow through understanding and reiterating which is fake news or not. Through this, we also gain discipline because of the mere fact that we are writing something at our speed and pace and that we could learn how to discipline ourselves by writing other things not related to the topic or to write something true in general. When we research gaining more ideas would be easy and it would be present since we get to investigate new facts and we would apply these in our own lives.

Research helps gather evidence to back up theories to develop new knowledge in different fields of study. Research plays a very important role in filling knowledge gaps, discovering new treatments, and enabling existing treatments to get the most out of them.

Our world is now bounded by modern technology. The internet, computers, tablets, and other electronic devices were created. It is now easier for us to satisfy our curiosity. And this is where the term "research" comes in. Aside from fulfilling our curiosity, research also gathers information and establishes relationships. Is research, however, necessary? It is, indeed. I have five reasons to support my claim. First, research broadens our understanding. We will learn more and gain a better understanding of a specific topic as we conduct research. Second, research can assist you in reaching out to people. In addition to raw data, research includes the sharing of real-life stories that have a more personal impact on people. Third, research can be used to solve problems. With the information you've gathered, you'll be more confident in your ability to resolve issues on your own. Fourth, research exposes you to new ideas. The more you research, the more perspectives you will encounter. Last but not the least, research is good for your mind. When you allow facts and logic to sink in, your mind becomes more active.

Despite having a small knowledge gained from the discussion about what research is, I can still say that research is important. It is useful to everyone especially these days as it gives us different new learnings. It makes the people still interested in finding out more about certain studies that will also benefit the majority. I see research as the foundation of improving things we see or even feel in our everyday lives. Research has contributed big developments to human society and its future. Technology, medical needs and other inventions are formed and are being used today because of research. Another importance of research is that it helps us differentiate facts to misleading information. The need for knowledge is insatiable in people. Compare modern human technology to that of two hundred years ago. That period of time may seem brief when seen on the grand scale of the cosmos, yet consider how far humanity has come. All of our tools, including hammers, chisels, and anvils, have been replaced by devices that are managed by computers. Our guns may fire anywhere from a single bullet per several minutes to three to four thousand shots per minute. Even the houses we live in, made of metal, concrete, and wood in addition to rock. Humans have carried out all of these feats after thorough investigation and analysis.

Research is a basic way to gain knowledge, it helps us to further understand about something. I, as a student would definitely agree that research is one of the most important for us people to comprehend things, like what my classmates wrote, it is a way for us generations to move forward and most probably surpass the past generations, for example on this past 6 months, the elections became the most controversial topic through out social media and as we all know the red team won or should I say "misinformation won". Research is a solution to fight misinformation that is spreading online, it will definitely help the younger generations to be open minded and fight for the truth.

Yes, research is important for so many reasons. One of them is because it is similar to learning. I can say that research is limitless in a way we can increase our knowledge of endless topics. It is progress wherein our community's advancement depends on it. Through research, we manage to develop concerns with factual details of variables that put-ups our safety and well-being. A piece of research-based information creates a big impact on our lives because what we know is what we share with other people and what we live by. Our decision-making lies on it and to be able to research is to have the privilege to understand the truth of judgments in life.

Those who seek knowledge about certain subjects would consider the value of research to be high. Research is a process of gaining more information and facts to build up their grasp on the topic. Being aware of that statement, we could envision the numerous people who benefit from doing research. These people could be students, teachers, children, basically anyone out there who thirst for knowledge. Not only that, but by doing research, we were able to advance technologically which impacted lives. Therefore, I would say that research is important.

Yes, it is extremely important. Research is one of the reasons why our world is progressing because we are doing our best to learn more about the things that exist in it. It is the reason we now know what we know. It keeps us inquisitive about the world around us; it creates possibilities for us to want to discover more about something. We won't be capable of understanding more about distinct topics unless we conduct research. Futhermore, it informs us about new concepts, such as current issues in our country, in order to make us aware and mindful of them because new information is always lying around somewhere, we just need to find it. It provides us with the truth, facts and vital information that we may currently require in order to support our opinions and perspectives on something. Without research, we will not be able to solve our global issues such as the COVID-19 pandemic. If scientists didn’t perform research or investigations regarding the virus, they won't be able to create vaccines that are capable of counteracting its effects or help us find more ways to protect ourselves and our loved ones from it.

A world without research will cause people to have no progress. So yes, it is vitally necessary for us and our daily life as it expands our knowledge about the world and leads us to unravel our issues, like treatments, technologies, etc. It helps us enhance our wisdom, boost credibility, minds to be more active, and enable them to take in reasoning and innovation. It also allows us to grasp ideas and theories and gives us the chance to address problems that society couldn't answer yet. Moreover, it fosters a sense of curiosity that pushes the search for new solutions, such as exploring and examining a matter that is unknown to you and will help you develop your outlook on it. Then, the entire study process provides new opportunities for intellectual development, education, and business fields. Doing research teaches young people to investigate through facts/references, gather data, analyze information, and discover proofs, which can sustain students to read more about many topics or subjects and prepares them to deal with the future. However, nowadays, we should not believe the internet because misinformation and fake news leaks faster and more widely than validity. Thus we should confirm and verify first to avoid being scammed.

Research is essential because it is a tool for us humans to learn different things in life. It will also bring us some diverting ideas and different perspectives on human evolution/history that can lead us to question our beliefs and the realism of our world. It will also bring us awareness of our problems that we usually ignore but have a horrible impact on our lives that can lead us to understand its roots and help us to solve our problems. It will also bring us to a better future in our society and in ourselves that can lead us to be better people and a better community. However, in this digital age, information is everywhere and accessible to everybody. But this accessibility comes at a price & that price is that false information is everywhere & everyone could make history on what they want despite not happening in the past and saying that their belief is true.
