         <description><![CDATA[<div>Going above 1,000 feet high in the Champ de Mars Park, the Eiffel Tower is by far the most iconic symbol in Paris, France. This monumental tower was built in 1889 to mark the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. Over the years, the Eiffel Tower of has been the site of countless stunts and numerous science experiments. This recognizable structure has been the inspiration of several other exhibits across the globe. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sainte Chapelle is a royal chapel in France. This site was also to house Christian relics such as Saint Louis. In the chapel, there were sacred relics in possession, which created an already powerful monarch head of Christianity. Saint Chapel was the residence to the kings of France until the 14th century. This royal gothic style chapel is one of the earliest surviving buildings of the Capetian royal palace.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Notre Dame de Paris or otherwise known as “our lady of Paris” is considered one of the finest examples of French gothic architecture. In the 1790’s Notre Dame went through deconstruction during the French Revolution when most of its religious imagery was damaged or destroyed. This cathedral is said to be one of the largest and most well-known church buildings in the world.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Musée D’orsay is a museum in Paris. Inside it holds French art from 1948. These include sculptures, paintings, photography etc. Originally, built in the 1900’s Musée D’orsay was originally a railway station.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Place de la Concorde is named after Louis XV to honor the king at the time after he recovered from illness. In fact, the square had an equestrian statue of the king. With that in mind, Place de la Concorde is the largest square in the French Capital, also one of the major ones in Paris. In 1795, the square was renamed was renamed Place de la Concorde as a gesture of settlement after the trouble of the French Revolution.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Being one of the most famous monuments in Paris, the Arc de Triomphe stands to honor those who died for France in the French Revolutionary/Napoleonic wars. The names of the soldiers are written on the inner and outer surfaces of the building. It also became the reuniting point of French troops parading after successful military campaigns. Underneath it, is the tomb of the unknown soldier from World War I.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Also known as the scared heart of Paris, Sacré-Cœur is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica dedicated to the sacred heart of Jesus. The designer of the church was Paul Abadie, construction began in 1875 and was completed in 1914. Sacré-Cœur was consecrated after the end of World War l in 1919. Receiving over more than 11.5 million visitors yearly, it is France’s second most visited church. </div>]]></description>
