Children all over the world are being abused and sometimes killed in hazardous work (that could be illegal). These deadly jobs for children include sweatshops, and agriculture. This could cause psychological problems especially to children who are abused into child labor. Children who are doing underage or deadly jobs are either trafficked, sold, or in bonded labor. In some cases, they have to work for money to feed their families. These often control children's lives especially because most of them do not have an education.

Anyone could be affected! Many children and families all around India, China, and Pakistan are the most common. Since some companies try to hide some children working the exact numbers are unknown for how many children are currently working. In some cases, parents of those children had to sell them to make money. And often those children are put to work, like slavery. Although the parent might get the child back (Also called bonded labor), these children are often losing their childhood due to hard working labor. Some children are trafficked into child labor. And very few are rescued.

The overall cause of child labor is from poverty. Almost 1 in 6 families all around the world are in poverty. Parents sometimes sell their children to create some money in attempt to buy food. In which the child has to work until either rescued or killed, unless they are in bonded labor. Hunger is another serious topic relating and leading to child labor. Families have to let their children work in very bad jobs just to get enough money to feed themselves every day. Even then, not all children are being fed properly, some not at all. Abuse is another problem relating to child labor, especially in overcrowded sweatshops. Children who do not follow the rules, do not work hard enough (sick, weak, etc), or make any mistakes (especially carpet/clothes making) could get beaten by canes or pipes by the adults watching them.

Trafficked: To take someone from their home (or country) illegally to another place. For here, children are trafficked because they could be workers for (possibly) hazerdous jobs.

Sweatshops: Large crowded factories to make clothing (or anything) in hard conditions with little to no pay. Often children are in those factories, and is the main place for abuse.

Bonded Labor: Where a parent can sell their children and make them work with the people they sold them to for a certain allotted time period before the child can return home again. And in some cases, never return.

Agriculture: Farm work. This can include planting and harvesting food.

There were many laws to stop child labor, but most of them are in the United States. In India, China, and Pakistan, there are often people who want to work through those laws. Many people (police) also help find which places have illegal sweatshops or trafficked children. Although there are many laws to prevent major trouble, some of them are being ignored and many don’t enforce it.
