         <description><![CDATA[<p>The first wave of feminism started in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It focused on legal inequalities, especially the right to vote. Activists such as Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton fought through protests, lobbying, and civil disobedience. A major victory for them was securing property rights for married women, allowing them to own and control their assets. The movements most significant achievement was the passing of the 19th amendment in 1920, granting women the right to vote, making it a step toward political equality.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The second wave of feminism emerged in the 1960s and continued into the 1980s. It broadened the focus towards including cultural inequalities, challenging traditional gender roles, and societal norms. Key issues included reproductive rights, workplace equality, and domestic violence. The activists fought for the passage of ERA (Equal Rights Amendment), however it as never approved but achieved significant process towards the access to education and employment for women. This wave also brought increased awareness and legal reforms talking about sexual harassment and marital rape, addressing important issues that have been ignored.</p>]]></description>
