I sung the song, and added it to my Spotify playlist so I learnt the lyrics without noticing.

How you acquired the sheet music, how you annotated it?
I went to google, and searched in the lyrics for the song, I copied them onto a word document, and highlighted bits where I struggled, I marked down with commas where I needed to breathe.

How videos of the piece you watched help you?
It didn't help, it was way to slow and just led to me being unable to sing, it sounded so mellowed out, and depressing. It stressed me out a lot trying to figure out how to sing it, and I was unable to sing this.

How you've chunked your practice?

I taught myself guitar techniques off YouTube and looked at multiple variations of the song including acoustic and electric, live and recorded versions. covers, originals etc. 
in lesson we had access to a scratch track, i played along with it and prior to that with a metronome or the original song.
