2. Establish demographics profiles of RNs at start of training, midway through training, and at the end of their training of one cohort, in each of the major training institutions in the three counties.
3. Focus groups (and individual interviews of the three cohort groups during the three phases of training and one year post registration.
4. Establish nurse educators viewpoints of current RN education and training, enablers and limitations. Then skype interviews with one from each county.
5. Establish a random controlled number of Health Service Executive (HSE) service managers in the three counties and survey regarding new RNs fitness for clinical practice, plus how the believe RN education could be improved.
6. Establish Head of Nursing of each education institution and send them an online survey to determine their thoughts on the current education curriculum meeting current healthcare service needs, enablers and limitations.
7. Establish current Senior Nurse with current government by interview regarding enablers and limitations at meeting current healthcare service needs, and how the education and training curriculum could be improved.
