I know I always put games on these Padlets, but I feel that I learn better in a more interactive type style. So here is a link to a bunch of games to help you with Spanish vocabulary words. I did the food one because it pertained to this discussion, but there are also others like clothing, telling time, phrases, numbers, etc. I really like that these games have pictures so you can match the word to a picture.

This is a very practical video. It is the only one i have found so far that actually suggests how to order the temperature of your meat. (see suggestion #6) I needed this a few weeks ago when I went to a Mexican restaurant. My wife threw me under the bus in telling the waiter that I was learning Spanish. He launched into a full blown conversation about how I wanted my steak cooked and I was stuck. :-)
