  • Let your canine out of the room.
  • Place three bowls of the same size, shape, and smell in a row.
  • Place a dog treat in each bowl, all of them different flavors, but the same size. 
  • Put a sticky note underneath each bowl with the flavor it is, just so you don’t get them mixed up. 
  • Let your canine in the room, and lead her/him to the treats. 
  • Mark which treat your canine ate first, and take the others away, so you don’t over-feed your canine. 
  • Also mark which side the treat was on, to see if your dog has a favorite side. 
  • Do this for ten days, and then check you chart for any patterns.
