         <description><![CDATA[<div>        <em>AKA Your Project</em><br><br>You will be creating an artwork (drawing/painting/combo) that utilizes the Grid Method of drawing to help with proportion and accuracy. <br><br>You will choose either a portrait of your trade teacher (or someone famous in your trade) OR an object of something related to your trade (ie: a hammer, hairbrush, meal, etc.)<br>You will have free choice of media: choose something that you are confident in using.<br><br>Paper size= 9x12 (vertical or horizontal) OR a square of your choice: 10X10 - 12x12.<br><br>Good luck!          <title>IF using 9x12&quot; paper:</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.  Start by saving your reference photo to your camera roll.<br><br>2.  Click and CROP your photo using the ratio 3:4 that is programed in your phone.<br><br>3. Save the new version.<br><br>4.  Open your grid maker app.  IF your image is Vertical Format, select one of the following:<br>     <strong>9 columns and 12 rows</strong> <em>(will produce a grid that is made out of 1" squares)</em><br> <strong>    6 columns and 8 rows </strong><em>(will produce a grid that is made out of 1 1/2" squares)</em><br>   <strong>  3 columns and 4 rows </strong><em>(will produce a grid that is made out of 3" squares)<br><br></em>5. IF your image is in Horizontal format, switch the columns and rows as listed above <em>(ie: 12 columns and 9 rows; 8 columns and 6 rows; 4 columns and 3 rows)<br></em><br>6.  CUT or get paper that is cut to size 9"x12".<br><br>7.  Measure and create the SAME grid that you put on top of your photo using the app.  Do this using pencil and begin to draw.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.   IF your image is a square format, choose a grid made out of the same number of columns &amp; rows.<br><br>2.  Cut your paper to the size that matches the number of boxes in your grid (if there are 11x11 then cut your paper to 11" x 11", etc.)<br><br>3.  Measure and create the same grid on your paper that you created on your photo using the app.  Do this in pencil.  Then begin to draw.</div>]]></description>
