Last year, on August 17th, my school held a celebration for Indonesia’s Independence Day. I joined several competitions with my classmates. It was a very fun and exciting day.

First, I participated in a sack race. I almost fell, but I managed to reach the finish line and won third place. After that, we had a cracker-eating competition. It was very funny because the crackers kept moving when the wind blew. In the afternoon, there was a tug of war match. My team tried very hard and we won the game!

On the first day, we visited Borobudur Temple. It was very big and amazing! I took a lot of pictures there. On the second day, we went to Parangtritis Beach. I played with the sand and watched the sunset. In the evening, we tried traditional food like gudeg. It was delicious!

The holiday was very fun and unforgettable. I hope I can visit Yogyakarta again someday.

After that, we sang a birthday song and I blew out the candles on my cake. The cake was chocolate, my favorite!

Evening Surprise

Last Sunday evening, something surprising happened to me. I was sitting in the living room, watching my favorite TV show, when suddenly the lights went out.

At first, I thought it was just a normal blackout. But then, my family asked me to come outside. When I stepped into the backyard, I saw colorful lights and a small cake on the table. It was a surprise birthday celebration for me!

I was so happy and shocked because my birthday was still two days away. My parents and siblings sang the birthday song, and I blew out the candles. We ate cake and took pictures together.

That evening was very special for me. I will never forget the surprise and the love my family showed.

MY HOLIDAY IN BEACH

Last weekend, my family and i went to the beach. We stayed there for two days. It was my first time going to the beach after a long time. I thought it would be a fun experience, especially after not going to the beach for a long time. We did many fun things together there.

_EVENTS.

First, i woke up early in the morning. Prepare, and pack my things for staying two days at the beach. When my family and i finally arrived at the beach, there were already a lot of people in the beach. We decided to check in at the nearest hotel which was also near the beach. We took s short break after a long drive. After taking a break, we went to the beach at 03.P.M. A lot of people were doing their activities. Swimming, surfing,sunbathing, playing volleyball, making sandcastle, and other fun things.

The first things i did in the beach is swimming. The water temperature is great. It's not that cold, but also not that warm. My little brother also went into the water with me. We were splashing water to each other. It was really fun. Next, me and my brother making a sandcastle. We working together really hard to made a big sandcastle. Even though we destroyed it after finishing, it was worth it. We did many other things together after that. But, the most important thing, and the main reason we went to the beach was the sunset. The sunset was really great. We took some photo, and it looks so beautiful! But, the moment didn't last long, and my family and I decided to go back to the hotel.
