         <description><![CDATA[<div>Benefits<br>- Having a community centered approach to education is beneficial&nbsp;<br>- Bringing a community referenced approach to schools where the curriculum, pedagogy and lessons are culturally relevant to students, allowing them to become active participants in their learnings<br><br>Challenges&nbsp;<br>- due to the fact that there is a direct relationship between class background of individuals and the neighbourhoods in which they live, schools located in an area that is a low income level area, these schools may not have sufficient resources or funding provided to them (research supports this)&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
