Author- Elie Wiesel
Genre- Autobiography/personal narrative
I chose this book to have a better understanding of what it felt like for a jewish community during World War Two, and how they were treated during German occupation. This book will also help me get back into the grove of things as it is a decently short book but very engaging read.

Authors: Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman
Genres: Fantasy/Comedy/Horror
Why I chose this book: I have been wanting to read Good Omens for a while, it has always been on my 'to be read list' but I haven't gotten around to it until now. Just the description is unlike any other book I've seen. "According to the Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch – the world’s only totally reliable guide to the future, written in 1655, before she exploded – the world will end on a Saturday. Next Saturday, in fact. Just after tea…" Within the first 10 pages, you are instantly engaged just because it is so different. I've also never read a book that is considered comedy or horror (let alone both in the same book) so I thought this one would be a good place to start!
