Why I chose this book: I have been wanting to read Good Omens for a while, it has always been on my 'to be read list' but I haven't gotten around to it until now. Just the description is unlike any other book I've seen. "According to the Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch – the world’s only totally reliable guide to the future, written in 1655, before she exploded – the world will end on a Saturday. Next Saturday, in fact. Just after tea…" Within the first 10 pages, you are instantly engaged just because it is so different.
