We had to use desmos (an online software) to create an image using equations. This project not only came out the best, but it was also the one I spent the most time and energy on since I was recreating one of my favorite anime characters. I chose to write about the impact of negative messaging we all receive about food and our bodies. It felt empowering to directly address some of those that are responsible for reinforcing these ideas, many of which are false. I addressed the letter to medical doctors. I had visuals and diagrams of rickets all over my poster. I had the correct causes of rickets. I had multiple symptoms of rickets (defined and properly described). I had treatment options discussed & explained (what do they do and how do they work). I have the dangers, concerns, and long term effects of rickets explained and supported in detail. Daily inconveniences and struggles were also mentioned. I had how rickets connects to human physiology and anatomy class.
