G3: practice 3

Part 2: group discussion
Subsidised Transportation :
In my opinion, provide subsidised transportation is the best way that government to improve the quality of life for the poor.To elaborate my point of view, transportation fee is costly for poor, the expense in transportation can be save for other uses like education fee or medical fee if government could provide low cost or even free public transport for them. Government can release a plan for student which they can get free rides to school using any public transportation such as MRT,LRT,KTM,bus and so on. This action can ensure them get to school safely and also do reduce the crime be happen. Additionally, government could also makes senior citizens get discounted rates for public transportation. This enable them can go hospitals or market by themselves and lighten the burden borne by their children who need to drive them to and from the place. In short, providing subsidised transportation can reduce poor burden, can reduce the happen of crime and even the pollution of air because of the decreasing in fuel consumption and greenhouse effect that affect global warming.

Free healthcare: In my opinion, the best way that the government can improve the quality of like for the poor is by providing free healthcare.
This is said so, nowadays people are getting sick so often and the medical cost are getting higher and higher. Private hospitals making profits by increasing the fees. On that case, government should play their role by providing free healthcare or a very minimal fee for the poor community and those who can't afford. For example, they may charge them Rm1 for the medicine fee. This may reduce the burden of poor community family who are struggling to get a healthcare or medical checkup. I strong believe that, by reducing or providing free healthcare could make the poor community lives much more easier and peace.

Affordable housing
Point: I would like to suggest that, the best way that the government can improve the quality of life for the poor is by providing an affordable housing.
Elaborate: This is because, many of poor are unable to afford a house . This happen because the house prices are expensive for them. Therefore, the government need to provides many affordable housing in every district in every state of Malaysia. To ensure that the poor in the corner of Malaysia can own a house.
Example: For example, the government have taken the initiative by providing cheap government housing project scheme. Such as, Malaysian housing scheme (PR1MA), My house sceme, My Selangor home, SaSaR home and so on.
Link: To sum up, The government providing an affordable housing can improve life for the poor. I hope that, the government can help them and eases their financial burden having a place to live.

CLEANLINESS CAMPAIGN

Point : I think one of the best way that the government can do to improve the quality of life for the poor is to held a cleanliness campaign.
Elaborate : I'm sure that we all agree dirty environment will make all of us feels uncomfortable especially for those who lives in poor.

Example : So the government can help them by organise clean-up activities to clean their residential area. They cam throw all the rubbish and clean the area so that the area will be more comfortable for them to live.

Elaborate : Furthermore , the cleanliness campaign will spread public awareness and make them realize the importance of cleanliness.

Link : So I strongly believe that held the cleanliness campaign can help the government to improve the quality of life for the poor

G3: practice3

Part 1 : individual presentation
Candidate A : Giving donations in cash and kind
In my opinions, We can help them by donate an items to the poor. Many items that can be donated to them that are easy to find and distribute to them. For example, daily necessities. Like food, drink, clothes and so on. Hence, they can feel what other people felt too.

Secondly, I think that, by giving the donations to the poor we can ease their financial burden. This is because, we already met their needs and they no longer need to spend on what they no longer have. As result, they can use the money for the other necessities. Like, utilities expenses, residential rent and etc. Thus, their financial become more stable.

Next, Giving donations in cash and kind to the poor also can giving a big impact on their phycology. This is because, They feel inspired that they are not the only ones in trouble. There must be a solution for their problems or troubles, which is, people surrounding giving a help to them. As a result, they will be more confident continue their living.

Candidate B:Providing homework guidance
Poor needs homework guidance because most of their parent only has low education or never been to school so they cannot guide them on their children studies.
Their financial statement cannot afford the fee for extra class to improve their children studies. Because of these reason, we should help them as we can on homework guidance. For example, giving them free extra class after school to do revision on what school teach that day and guide them on the homework. After the guidance maybe they can get a better result and get to help their family financial in the further by getting a better job with a higher salary income.

Candidate C:
point 1: Taking care of the children

Elaboration: nowadays day care centres are so expensive. Parents couldn't not afford to pay the fee. especially the poor community. So, by providing free care services to the children, both parents can go work and earn money .This may. reduce their financial issues.Besides that, children also will be safe under the day care. Thus, free babysitting children may reduce the struggles of poor community.

Point 2: taking care of elderly people
Elaboration: not only kids but elderly people also need care services. Elderly people won't be able to take care of them, so this may burden the family. On top of that, homes or care centres for elderly people are so expensive. On that case, providing free care services for elderly people can reduce the family financial problems and this may make the elderly people feel loved and safe.
So we can see that, providing free care services for the elderly people may also reduce the burden of the poor community to continue their daily lives.

Point 3: taking care of the autism
Elaboration:

Candidate D:

Point : getting sponsorship for children's education

Elaborate : the definition of sponsorship is a financial support that someone gain from the sponsor

Example : childrens can gain sponsorship especially in education from JPA , KPM , MARA abd many more

Example : apply via online

Link : sponsorship will ease childrens studies
