         <description><![CDATA[<div>Main points of the article:<br>1) Assistive technology can be a very helpful tool to incorporate into the classroom.<br>2) Assistive technology can take many forms, ranging from low tech to high tech. <br>3) Proper training for the teachers, parents, and student is very important when it comes to assistive technology. <br><br>Two sides of the article:<br>1) Assistive technology is a very helpful tool to use in the classroom and can take many forms. <br>2) Assistive technology takes a lot of training to implement.<br><br>Questions:<br>Is the process of implementing assistive technology different for students who are home schooled or do they have to seek additional support from professionals?</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Main points of the article:<br>1) Technology allows you to have access to many outside resources to further your understanding and intelligence. <br>2) Technology allows you to learn how to do anything and learn them when they are needed. <br>3) Technology allows you to learn "the classics" by being presented in new ways.<br><br>Two sides of the article:<br>1) Technology isn't a good learning tool because it allows for people to only learn things when they need them. It prevents you from the need to learn the basics and to think independently. The classics are being forgotten.<br>2) Technology is a good learning tool because it allows you to look up how to do anything instead of learning many things you may never even need to use. The classics are still learned, just in a different way.<br><br>Questions:<br>Is being an independent thinker before going into the workplace still important in today's society when one can easily learn something as needed?</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Main points of the article:<br>1) The way students prefer to learn today is drastically different than how people have learned in the past.<br>2) Educators need to change the way they approach instruction to engage the students instead of just lecturing. <br>3) Teachers need to allow students to access information in the way that is most comfortable for them(through technology). <br><br>Two sides of the article:<br>1) The way teachers instruct needs to change for the students of today.<br>2) Students and teachers should find a midpoint in how they like to learn/instruct. <br><br>Questions:<br>What should happen if there are some students that do not feel incorporating technology is their preferred way of learning?<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Main points of the article:<br>1) Teaching with and about social media equips students to be a part of the 21st century society that they will be entering. <br>2) Students are able to use social media as a way to have a voice to be active members of their democracy. <br>3) Students can use social media to become digital citizens.<br><br>Two sides of the article:<br>1) It is important to incorporate social media in schools since it is an important thing to understand as citizens in this society. <br>2)Social media allows students and others to be digital citizens in their society and government. <br><br>Questions:<br>Is it still ok to have a partial ban on social media in schools since many students still use it for fun instead of using it responsibly in school?</div>]]></description>
