Germany offense

The German offense of world war II was characterized by a series of military campaigns aimed toward expanding Nazi Germanys territory and influence across Europe. This included the invasion of Poland in 1939, which triggered the war, followed by invasions of other nations such as France, the Soviet Union and other smaller European countries. The German military known as Wehrmacht, employed blitzkrieg tactics which combined air support and fast moving armored units in order to overwhelm their enemies defense. These offenses resulted in significant territorial gains for Germany early in the war.

Camps or concentration camps were established across Europe and served as locations of imprisonment, forced labor and mass murder of millions of people, primarily Jewish. Other people were also killed such as Romanians, disabled Individuals and others that were deemed undesirable by the Nazi regime. The nazis propagated anti-Semitic beliefs, blaming Jewish people for various societal problems while promoting the idea of a “master race”. This ultimately led to the genocide of millions of Jewish people in what is known as the holocaust. It was a horrific chapter in human history that was driven by hatred.

The image above is a poster in polish, demonizing the Jewish people, blaming them for societal problems and showing that they are dangerous “people” all in hope that the people of Poland would side with nazism.
