As a philosopher he believed in many things. Locke believes that citizens cannot fully give up their rights to judge whether government is right and bad. And they have the right to overthrow it if it is horrible. He also, believed that men are by nature free and equal against claims that God had made all people naturally follow rules made by a monarch.
