Due to the high demand the companies are increasing the supply and at the same time reducing the cost. As the market is so competitive due to the number of private companies. The government plan have introduce bike sharing business from overseas(ofo) and locally(oBike), which would provide bike rental services for the citizens.

POSITIVE SPILLOVER
With the bike sharing services in operating it would results to lower human traffic while taking public transport as some of the citizens would have prefer riding a bike to its destination. With the lesser demand of public transport(during non-peak hours) it would reduces the number of operating transport which in turn contributes in building a greener city.

There are always a pro and con side.

NEGATIVE SPILLOVER
The problem however is that the users of these bikes have taken advantage of the luxury provided and use it in a way which burdens the people around, example are, parking the bike in the middle of walking pathway which blocks the way of the other people. Other problems are people hogging up the rental bikes by putting locks on it or parking in their home premises, which greatly reduces the number of bikes available for the other users.
