Many customs and symbols are associated with it. Early in the morning, on Christmas Eve children go to houses and sing various songs to the hosts.
They symbolize the angels, and singing in houses means that the news of Christ's birth will be spread everywhere. Children symbolize pastors, and the home where they go symbolizes the cave in which the Infant was born. There is another symbolism. There is a rich, languid dinner table. The hosts strive to bring everything out to be rich in the table all year round. Meat is roasted, and in some places, greenhouses are put into which a coin is placed. It is believed that the one with whom the coin will fall will follow happiness throughout the year.
