• A goal that I have is continue to strengthen my communication skills both inside and outside of the classroom

• Another goal I have is to be myself out of my comfort zone, especially in larger group settings, and talk more in class whether that is to answer a question or during group discussion

Assignments I have enjoyed 

• I really enjoyed the peer leading group project with STRIVE. I enjoyed being able to come up with a creative activity and then be able to go off campus and work with a population I enjoy

• I also enjoyed the assignment where we got to work with an unfamiliar adult. I enjoyed this because I like to learn about people and it pushed me out of my comfort zone a little, which I surprisingly enjoyed

• The thought of becoming an OT in the near future really helps me to keep going even through the hard assingments and long exams. This is something I have wanted for a long time so that motivation helps to keep me inspired

• Hanging out with my friends also keeps me energized as it allows me to shut my mind off for a little and laugh

What will you protect for habits/routine?

• Something that I will protect from habits/routines is my sleep schedule. I really try to make sure that I am getting at least 8 hours of sleep each night 

• Something else that I will protect for habits/routines is my semester long calendar of assignments and exams and I check them off as I go. This allows me to know what is coming up in the future and what I have or have not done. 

• Lastly, I will continue to have built in "me time" each day as it lets me relax and reflect on how I am feeling emotionally. Sometimes this time is just laying in bed watching something I love and sometimes this time is going to an event/outing that brings me joy. This allows me to focus on things that are not school and also do things that have no relation to school, since most things revolve around school and schoolwork.
