After Identifying the Pros and Cons, I decided to go with PNC as my financial institution. Out of the three banks, PNC offered better interest rates. They also had a lot of promotions on their website that was directed toward young people: Virtual Wallet (extensive online banking feature), plenty of information of student banking, and student loan information. I thought that overall PNC offered a multitude of accessible options and according to the textbook, “The more options you have, the more you’ll be able to accomplish" (Planning and Money Management). I'm also slightly biased toward PNC since my parents currently use PNC as their own bank, and they have no complaints, so I think I will continue on the same path.
