In the introduction, there are many examples of pseudoarcheology. For example phrases such as "greatest mystery of all time" and "aliens shaping history" These phrases are meant to get the audience to question their own knowledge about the pyramids and how they were made.

From the History Con website, it says he is "One of the world's foremost Ancient Astronaut experts"

A further investigation showed that he graduated from Ithica College with a degree in communications. He worked for several years as a bodybuilder promoter and volunteered at contests. He is also the co-founder of Legendary Times Magazine, which was last published in 2008.


It is clear that he does not have any credentials as any sort of archeologist, an expert on the pyramids, or any geographical knowledge.

Brien states, “Conventional science is almost like a closed system. They have a very structured belief system, and anything that doesn't fit within their belief system is simply rejected or hidden from us” Stating that this is “forbidden archeology” 

He says this to get the viewer to think that science isn't telling the truth and stuff is being hidden from us. In reality, forbidden archeology is where people tell stories about how they believe science isn't real.

It is believed that all of the pyramids were created by an extraterrestrial origin and the government is trying to hide the pyramids because they want to keep them a secret. This is a conspiracy that they try to get the viewer to believe during the show.

 Sam Osmanagić, talks about how these hills in Bosnia are engineered pyramids. They are larger than the pyramids of Egypt. He says they were built around 12 BC and whoever built them was extremely advanced. He says these would be the oldest pyramids on earth and history books need to be changed.  Scientists won't accept that so he thinks there's something the government wants to be kept secret. 

During this scene in the show, they start playing tense music in the background and they are zooming in and out of the hillside. The narrator is asking questions about the possible relationship of other pyramids while showing pictures of multiple different pyramids. This is an example of pseudoarchaeology by using visuals and editing that make the viewer believe that what they know is wrong.

He has written 37 books. 4 of which are talked about in the television series Ancient Aliens. One of his more popular books titled Aftershock: The Ancient Cataclysm That Erased Human History talks about a civilization that does exist but no one knows about it. His books are further examples of pseudoarcheology trying to get the reader to think information is being hidden from the public.
