(Dus het tegenovergestelde van een wetenschappelijke, objectieve atlas die je bij Aardrijkskunde ziet). Er zijn er van Brussel, Servië, Mexico enzovoort. Voor elke atlas werken locals en reizigers samen om een boek te maken met allerlei beelden uit hun land, waaronder dikwijls verzamelingen: foto's van mensen die dezelfde kledij aanhebben, frituursnacks, ogen,... Kortom, alles wat een kijker opviel aan het land en dat wou vastleggen. Dikwijls zijn het erg alledaagse beelden die betekenis krijgen door de herhaling. Zowat alles. Dit deed hij als kritiek op de wegwerpcultuur: hij verzamelde alledaagse dingen die mensen zouden weggooien. Souvenirs, kitch, speelgoed,... MAS, het museum in Antwerpen, heeft die collectie gelregen en bewaart er de helft van. Daardoor krijgen de objecten nu wel een waarde, mooi opgeborgen en gearchiveerd in het museum.
