         <description><![CDATA[<p>We talked about respect in class and gave some examples of when we treated other people with respect. We then did some role play around empathy and how people might feel if they weren't given respect. We also discussed what we might do if we saw our friends treating each other disrespectfully.</p><p><br></p><p>"Treat people how you want other people to treat you."</p><p><br></p><p>"I think I always treat people with respect.  I hope I do."</p><p><br></p><p>"You can have respect for equipment too. Like our toilets."</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>All three classes took part in a live webinar with Norfolk Constabulary about anti-social behaviour. We looked at the three main types (Personal, Environmental and Nuisance) and talked about the age of criminal responsibility. We then discussed what we would do if we saw AB taking place in the local community.</p>]]></description>

         <title>You&#39;re so Gay! (w.c 25.11)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Today, all three classes discussed whether using the term 'You're so gay!' was appropriate.  We talked about the original meaning of the word being light-hearted and carefree and someone who is attracted to members of their own sex.  However, it has now become a derogatory word.  We talked about whether the phrase should be banned in schools</p><p>'It should be banned if you are using it to be mean' Rose</p><p>'It should be banned if someone is saying it in a hurtful way' Frankie</p><p>'It shouldn't be banned because gay means happy' Harlie</p><p>We then talked about saying other hurtful things to each other</p><p>' I always whisper before I say something to make sure I say the right thing' Coby</p><p>'We just need to be kind to everyone' Tommy</p>]]></description>
