What our examples would do is the songs beat would be very upbeat, while the content of the song isn't happy. What he does differently from other rappers who rap about this, is that he incorporates children in his chorus. What this does is it brings the conversation of people being so poor with no government help to the masses of our society. When you hear other songs about people having to deal drugs growing up, you don't think of the children in that situation. The lyrics sing about how in stressful situations, the singer would go walk around outside to collect himself. Many people don't want to listen to music over hard times, but want to listen to music that's fun. That's where this musical element comes in - it combines both. These artists do this so as to get their point across to an incredible amount of people.
