Adolf Hitler is a person we're all familiar with. He basically caused WWII. He died in 1945, or did he? Did he really die in 1945? Was the body that was found in the bunker in Berlin thought to be Adolf Hitler actually his body? How many more crazy theories about Hitler are there? We will be answering these questions but first, we need some historical context.

Hitler was born on April 20, 1889. He had a pretty bad childhood and this pretty much ruined him and got him into politics. At 25, he joined the Nazi party, a political organization in which people thought specific groups of people were the reason why Germany lost WWI. The Nazis mostly blamed the Jews. Hitler set up a bunch of concentration camps and sent jews and other people there to work all day or they were just cremated there and then. All of this happened from mostly 1933-1945.

On April 30, 1945. Soviet troops were searching for Hitler. Hitler was hiding in his underground bunker in Berlin with his wife that he had just gotten married to pretty much less than 24 hours before. they both swallowed cyanide capsules and commited suicide before the Soviets could find them. After the Soviets found him, he had already taken himself out. The Soviets could not confirm nor deny that Hitler was dead to the public. They began to spread rumors about him and this is where people started theorizing.

People didn't know what to believe about Hitler. The Soviets hadn't told the public if he was alive or dead. It was eventually discovered that Hitler's burnt body had been hidden away before he was cremated. His ashes were scattered in 1970. It was confirmed that it was his body that was scattered.

Again people didn't know what to believe about Hitler. So some French scientists got together debunk that Hitler really died in 1945. The scientists examined the skull of Hitler and his teeth. The skull had a hole on the side from the gun he used to commit suicide. They said the bullet hole was comparable to the gun he used. The teeth were examined and said to be authentic and that there was no doubt that those teeth belonged to Adolf Hitler and he did in fact die in 1945.

One of the biggest theories about Hitler’s death til this day, is “Did Hitler really die?” Locals in London thought he actually lived and was disguised as a monk and shaved off his signature mustache. Some people even thought he disguised himself as a woman. Another theory is the Doppelganger Theory. The Doppelganger Theory is the theory where people believed Hitler hired a doppelganger and faked his death. Some years after this theory erupted, the body of a Hitler doppelganger was found, making people think there could be more among society.

Hitler was suspected to have Ailurophobia(fear of cats)
Hitler had dentophobia(fear of the dentist)
Hitler was on MANY drugs
He was an animal rights activist
He had a thing with his niece and she shot herself 14 years prior to Hitler's death with the same pistol he used to kill himself
