Young Hamlet calls his mother a unholy beast from hell because she had mourned the death of her king for one month. Hamlet would be occasionally looking at his uncle the new king to see his reactions . If he does flinch and tenses up then Hamlet knows it was his uncle who murdered him out of cold blood.
