In this video, he exposes a common supernatural trick - in which, he proves how easy it may be to be fooled.
Connection:
This proves that you can easily do tricks and frame it as having extrasensory perception, while not actually having it.

Description:
This video, featuring Lawrence Krauss, is one questioning the reality of ESP. In this video, Lawrence Krauss, questions the existence of ESP. He denies a methodology of ESP (specifically the one involving brain signals). As a counter-argument, the host of the podcast states multiple things ESP believers say, which Lawrence disagrees with.
Connection:
In the end, he states that there is currently no physical evidence, and overall, nothing to prove. He deems the existence of ESP "highly unlikely."
This video explains how there can be no scientific explanation. Lawrence Krauss states that until there is physical evidence of ESP, people will never believe in it.

Description:
ESP cards, or Zener Cards, are cards utilized to conduct tests for extrasensory perception (ESP). Designed by Karl Zener for experiments with his co-colleague, parapsychologist J. B. Rhine.
The cards come in a deck of 25, with 5 cards all having different symbols (a cross, a star, a square, waves, a triangle, and a circle.)
Connection:
In a test for ESP, one would pick a card in a shuffled pack, look at the symbol, and then record the answer of the person being tested. This method was heavily criticized due to the predictability of the test. If someone shuffled the cards in a poor way, they could easily predicted, and people may have marked or manipulated the cards.
When Rhine took measures to fix the problems related to the ESP test, he, unfortunately, was unable to find any high-scoring subjects. This experiment shows people that ESP cards can't accurate tell someone that have ESP.

Description: This video is of 5-year-old Ramses Sanguino. His mother believes that he is a savant with telepathy, as she claims that he can read in 7 languages, and always gets the number when she wants him to guess the number. They tell a scientist, and she makes him do a telepathy test in which they write down numbers on paper, then let him guess the number. He got 3/5.
Connection: This video caused a lot of discussion when it comes to telepathy - many have argued that they should have not let the mother conduct the test, asked the question in the same way every time, etc. Along with this, although he didn't fail, he didn't get all of them right - so you can argue that he does not have telepathy. Despite that, you can also argue vice versa.

Description:
In this video, the Stokes twins attempt the twin telepathy challenge. In the challenge, they take a border and 3 objects, and try to guess which one the other is going to choose.
Connection:
There are many ways to debunk this - however, you can argue that it is real. The answer I got from this was that they know each other well. Does this necessarily mean they are reading each others minds, letting them guess the same answer? No, not really. In the video, they state that they thought the other would pick another answer when they don't get the right answer. If they did have telepathy, you would say that it would be impossible.

Description:
In this video, Penn and Teller, a mentalist duo reveal the tricks needed to do a mentalist trick. They start off with a basic trick, in which they make her get a card, and then guessing the card, then getting it correct. They later expose the trick, saying that 1 man holds the card, while the other reads it and tells her the card.
Connections:
This proves that there are many tricks that can disguise itself as telepathy/clairvoyance, or other ESP related things in general. In the first trick in the video, the reporter first believes that they may have read her mind to get the card - while they have simply misdirected her attention.

Description:
This video goes over American history with psychics, or more specifically, the Stargate project, meant to train psychics to help the military. When they "found out" (in quotations, because nobody was doing this) that other countries were spending millions on researching "psychotronics", they began to research themselves. They started the Stargate project, to help psychics and the military. They conducted experiments, most famous one being one where they would find people, come up with 12 distinct locations, bring 2 experimenters and let one of them drive to 1 of the 12 locations with observers, have the observers look at the area, while the person being experimented on draws or describes the area despite not knowing where they are, then taking the participant to the area. Repeat those steps 9 times - Get a judge, take them to all nine locations, and give them transcripts of the participant's descriptions. If the judge matched the location to the description, then they were a psychic.
Connection:
This shows how a possibly effective test for someone with ESP could be possible. Despite this, when the judges had to see the results, none of them were accurate. The subjects thought they had psychic visions, although they were all completely unlike the area.

Description:
The Sixth Sense is a movie released in 1999 about a child who can see dead people. It's a horror movie with tear-jerking aspects - fans of it say that the movie is timeless.
Connection:
Seeing dead people is a common trait associated with ESP. Having ESP in general is a popular thing throughout media - you will consistently see psychics, telekinesis, the ability to see dead people like the boy in this movie, clairvoyance, telepathy, etc.

1. What most surprised me was the amount of information disproving ESP, despite the amount of believers I've seen. I also was surprised was the psychology behind parapsychology.
2. Sometimes it feels like I have a sixth sense with my amazing younger sister. Now, it know it may not be real, but I still appreciate the closeness I have with her.
3. I found the research I did now the most interesting. Majority of the videos disproved ESP, but the few that believed in it struck my interest.
4. I'm most likely to remember the Stargate project. The history behind it, and the actual experiment - interested me a lot.
5. I believe alternative medical beliefs are the most harmful. People with these beliefs may avoid seeking a doctor or proper treatment because of these beliefs, and that can be dangerous. I believe the least harmful is superstitions, as believing small things throughout the day can give you good/bad luck isn't bad long term.
6. It's okay to have beliefs and believe in different superstitions. It's nice to have hope that there's more beyond the eye.

It discusses its influence in media such as the movie Carrie and explains why it can't exist when it comes to science. It comes to a conclusion that even if you want it to exist, the proof for it actually existing is still weak.
Connection:
This proves the weakness of the existence of telekinesis. If you had to to prove it scientifically, the video goes over that you would have little-to-no proof of its existence, despite its influence over media. It ends with a goodbye to fictional characters such as Yoda and Carrie.
