Her grandma tells her to follow her destiny to the sea when the island is doing bad. Due to the heart of Tafiti being stolen.

Refusal of the Call

Meeting with the Mentor

When Moana's ship wrecked she found Maui, he sort of tells Moana what he is all about then sails away.

Crossing the Threshold

Maui and Moana finally make a deal and if he restores this heart they need to get his hook. They sail to get the hook first.

Tests, Allies, and Enemies.

Before they get to Tamatoa they come along the Kakamora. They are very vicious but Moana and Maui successfully defeat them. And are on their way to get the hook.

Approach

When they get there they have to climb a large structure to get into the lair. When they get in there Moana distracts the crab and Maui tries to get the hook.

The Ordeal

Their plan successfully works when Maui snatches the hook, they have another great victory.

The Reward

Maui finally gets his hook as an award for this battle and now they must get on their way.

The Road Back

They are on their way to restore the heart of Tafiti. When they get there they see Te Ka. This is still Tafiti just in a shadow form. She needs to restore the heart to have Tafiti back.

The Resurrection

She sings to Te Ka and is gentle with her instead of trying to battle her. This works and she restores the heart. Making all of the land safe from monsters and the darkness.

Return with the Elixir

Moana returns to her family and everything is back to normal. They have a healthy island, Moana gets to be chief, and they are voyagers again!

Hero

Moana and Maui are the Hero Archetypes because they restored the heart of Tafiti, this saved many lives.

Shadow

The ocean is an ally because it provides help along the way. Like when Maui kept launching her into the water the ocean got her back on the boat.

Threshold Guardians

Te ka or Te Fiti are the shape shifters because in the picture above this is the same person, just different looks and intentions. The picture on the left is with the heart restored. On the right is without the heart.
