         <description><![CDATA[<div>A few nights after the Union won the war Abraham Lincoln and his wife went to the theater April 15th. John Wilkes Booth was an actor at the theater, and entered the presidential box then shot the president in the head. Booth escaped fleeing to the South, to then be captured April 24th. Lincoln was taken to the Peterson House, across the street from the theater where he died. </div>]]></description>
