There were some great characters in this book, along with some great character development. But there ere too many plots and themes to keep up with. Although this book has so many details and good descriptions, I would probably not recommend this.

This book is about a young boy during the Revolutionary War, and how he deals with the opposing views of his loyalist father and his patriot brother. In this story, we see the main character grow and follow his own beliefs instead of his father's influences. This book has a good story-line, but the writing is a bit boring.
