#3Have
the steps been adjusted or altered since development? If so, how?
If not, why?

4. The importance of the Universal Design for Learning Model
in fire service course design, development and delivery is to engage learners
by creating interest and motivation for learning. Content is presented in
different ways which works to engage the variety of learners in today’s fire
service. Finally, the model creates an avenue for learners to express what was
learned. As in all education scenarios, being able to engage all learners and
then have them use or express what was learned is key. In this way the model
works well for the fire service.
