I am Deputy Head responsible for predominately curriculum and academic related issues and have a particular interest in pedagogy, innovation and the use the use of digital resources in teaching and learning and how they can be used to enhance the learning experience. A lot of my time in recent years has been spent on a curriculum review, assessment and feedback.

When I do spend time in the classroom, I teach Maths and Design & Technology and the occasional bit of cricket coaching.

This is Rebecca Ma, and it's my third year into AEL. I'm currenly working as a vice principal of one of the high school departments (we have six high school programs) in an international school in Beijing. I have been working in the same school for 17 years. My son, 14 years old, study in the middle school sharing the same campus with me.  Sometimes it can be a bit pressure to live in the same campus with your own child and he may become one of your student. I'm still learning to balance the roles of a teacher and a mother.
