         <title>Use of technology in the classroom needs to have a strong focus on the math content.  The technology plays an important role but the primary focus should be on the math itself.</title>

         <title>Something that was unclear to me was how reliant we should let our students be on technology.  Many of our students come into our rooms without many math facts, and I tend to let them just use their calculators to circumvent this lack of facts, instead of having kids learn their facts better.  Is this an appropriate use of technology?</title>

         <title>Technology is an important component to education, difficulties arise in the areas of teacher knowledge of software and student engagement.  If a teacher wants to enhance their skill set with technology, then they will seek out training.  Others may not.  This could cause a gap in instruction and alignment in content areas.  Students who lack basic math skills, may struggle trying to manipulate layered problems that are presented in an online manner.</title>
