         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Scarlet Feve</strong>r is an infection caused by a bacteria called Group A <em>Streptococcus pyrogenes</em>. The bacteria releases an exotoxin and is beta hemolytic, which means there is complete lysis, or destruction of blood cells.<br><br>Scarlet fever mostly affects those ages 5-15 and is passed through respiratory droplets, so coming in close contact with someone that has a Strep A infection can pass it on.</div>]]></description>
