Effort-reward system could play an important role in releasing work-related stress.Employees who finish more tasks but earn the same salary may feel this is unfair. This means that the same salary level may dampen the enthusiasm of workers and decrease the efficiency. By contrast, an appropriate effort-reward can build a fairer salary system, which can encourage employees to work efficiently. However ,effort-reward system may cause malign competition among colleagues.

There are a number of viable solutions to combat the stress related from work.Firstly, establishing clear responsibilities for each employee can help to reduce the work-related stress and promote the work environment. Successful organisation should have comprehensive responsibilities for all levels of their structures. Another strategy is to rotate employees with other units for developing and breaking their routines. This will improve their skills and reduce stress. The challange in implementing these strategies is they are not applicable for small organisations.

There are a number of viable solutions to combat the problem of work stress. Firstly, introducing new reward system can help in reducing such stress. Employers should improve works’ incomes,as a result, it can enhance their moral and productivity. For example, extra leaves and bonuses should be provided to employees who have great performance. Although some staffs may work overtime to earn bonus, most of them can feel relaxed when they are financially rewarded.

A number of factors have contributed to work-related stress. Working overtime could play an important role in working pressure. For example, with the huge workload, employees have no time to relax, which causes anxiety. This can lead to physical effects, such as heart disease and hypoimmunity. In addition, the low salary is another factor which could increase the life stress, which means low paid employees cannot afford the mortgage. Thus, working overtime has been identified as an obstacle faced by employees, which could result in health problems and increase the stress.

Work balance program is useful to release work-related stress. By providing work balance program, employees may feel content, which is useful to improve their efficiency. Due to the heavy work tasks, more private time will be spent on workplace. This means that they do not have enough time with their families. The companies should provide more flexible working hours. This strategy may succeed in extending spare time. Moreover, telecommunicating is an efficient program to reach this balance. Employees may have high efficiency if they feel comfortable. In this way, the enhancement of work-balance could perfect and is useful to reduce cost.
