Presentations: 8:30 - 12:00
  • Two people can pair up and present together.
  • The tech department can pay you for 4 hours of planning per topic, if your presentation proposal is selected. (if you present one topic strand you would get paid 4 hrs, 2 topic strands = 8 hrs.)
Submit your proposal via Google Form by Friday, April 7. The tech department will notify you of you acceptance by Friday, April 28.

Now, I know almost all of us have 1:1 iPads in our classrooms already but here are some fun facts that might intrigue you to apply for this grant…
1. If you are awarded the grant, the devices will travel with you if you are to ever switch classrooms and/or buildings - as long as you're a classroom teacher in district 186 - they are yours! 
2. If you have some old devices currently, it is in the plans right now for the district to upgrade your devices....however, you could get them upgraded quicker by be awarded this grant! 
3. If you are not 1:1, the possibility of Jim having money to purchase you devices is slim to none. This is a great opportunity to get the tech you've been dreaming about.

2. Grant submission deadline: April 17, 2017 (no later than 4:00 p.m.) 

3. Please remember to NAME THE DEVICE in which you are applying for (iPads or Chromebooks)
