  1. Learning objective: students will be able to identify and use common Christmas vocabulary words related to Christmas traditions and celebrations in English.  

 

Activity Structure: 

  1. Introduction:  

The activity presents questions regarding Christmas traditions and customs that take place during this season. With this activity, students will practice English vocabulary related to Christmas, where they will be able to observe questions about traditions, decorations, celebrations, and more associated with the Christmas festivities. A video will also be shared with the students where they will be able to listen to and observe vocabulary related to Christmas, and a listening session about a short story will be offered, which the students will listen to and reflect on. 

 

  1. Instructions:  

  • Step 1: The class will begin by showing a video to the students, the video will be about English vocabulary related to Christmas. 

  

  • Step 2: Next, a game will be started in Kahoot regarding Christmas customs and celebrations. 

  

  • Step 3: Students will enter the link to play the activity, and the correct PIN for the game will be provided. 

  

  • Step 4: Students will be instructed to read the questions carefully and choose the corresponding answer. 

  

  • Step 5: After completing the questionnaire, students will be encouraged to discuss the answers and talk about their favorite Christmas traditions, using the vocabulary they practiced.
