The album consists of a series of solo songs by each member of the group that tie together to created a tangled tale, and though there has been much speculation as to what the very symbolist approach is supposed to mean, I believe the intention is sum up the journey from childhood into adulthood. 
Awake, by BTS member Jin (the featured male in the film), is about letting go of your childish ways despite how hard it may be and taking the first steps into your adult life, even as reservations persist. This is a beautiful piece and I found myself listening to the entire album a lot in recent months, though I knew of it and enjoyed it upon its 2015 release.
