b) If teachers are allowed to go back early, perhaps it should be restricted to a percentage so that there are still sufficient teachers to cover last-min relief for the later periods

Slotting the TTT periods at the first 2 or last 2 periods of the day. With reference to the Even/Odd arrangement, teachers who may not have TTT for any particular week could report late or end the workday earlier.

1. Flexibility will offload mental load of staff as they may be able to see to the needs of their families. Staff will feel more cared for and they know that the school is looking out for them.

4. Certain requests like late reporting due to kids or aged/ailing parents, these requests should be raised prior to timetabling.

After the timetable has been generated, based on the timetable, the school can look into FWH.

Perhaps we can look at reporting later (by 9am) or leaving earlier (after 12pm) if you have no lessons. But there should be some way to track this so that we know who is around and who is not.

Contact Time, EXCO Connect/Matters and other forms of meetings can be conducted virtually. It was quite successful during the Covid period and the online meetings tend to be more succinct.

Teachers can indicate their preference whether to report late or end early. We can try to accommodate if possible.

- Offer options for online CT especially during June holidays. Benefit: encourages familiarity with Microsoft Teams
- Staggered hours
- Allow internal swaps of periods on adhoc basis for teachers to end early
- Lecture-style teaching for certain topics once infrastructure is ready

Come out with a whole term schedule eg. Google calendar, 1 glance can see who takes early dismissal/late reporting: easier to manage for relief team as there are advanced leave taken or MCs for the day. Certain dates can also be blocked out, such as eve of PH. 😉

Scheduling
Option A (flexibility):
- Use RBS/booking system similar to the MOE corporate pass booking system
- Limit it e.g. only 3-4 people can leave early
- Up for discussion: to include quota e.g. only 1 late reporting/early dismissal or allow teachers to book multiple times?
Option B (fairness):
- Even weeks - P2/4/6 teachers can arrange for a flexible work day
- Odd weeks - P1/3/5 teachers
