Today we showed to the front of the classroom the advert, which we created. The main point of this advert was to present the rubik’s cube to the viewers. To get a attention of people who going to watch this advert in television. To record all shots that we did, we’ve been using Nicon camera. Every shot we did we recorded at college. We talk a shots on stairs, hall and in TV Studio to take the shot with table. 

 

For the beginning of the advert we added to the fest shot, short question “Can You Solve It?” we did this to get more attention from viewer and also try to challenge them. We also used lots of POV shots to show in details how is Rubik’s Cube works and how it is look like, also we took a product shot to better present it. Mot of text in this advert is colorful such as Rubik’s cube so advert looks nice and easy to understood and watch. 

 

This advert is aimed to the young people who want to improve his mind skills and challenge them self also to people who want to spend spear time on something more creative than playing pixel game on theirs mobile phones. We made this advert more funny by adding the parody part to it where the person who been trying solve the Rubik’s cube for the whole advert on the end the lost his patience and he started throw it and getting pissed. On the end of advert we used the Rubik’s cube and put a slogan that the Rubik’s Cube is not easy to solve but you can always challenge yourself and try it so this maybe get even more attention from the viewer and make people challenged and they will buy the product. The advert was 35 secunds long so it was short but I think we send a message that we had to send. The advert is easy and nice to watch and understand. To edit the advert we used Adobe Pro.  The program was easy to used I didn’t hade any problems with it and also we didn’t lose the quality of the advert after we render it. 

 

After we presented the advert to the class we gave them a feedback sheet where they can say what we did good and what we did wrong so we could fix it later and didn’t get the same things in the future. Most of students said the advert was nice and most of ratings they give as were 7/10 or 8/10.

 

I think we did a good work with Alfie I enjoyed the recording and editing I hope we could to it again soon.   

 

-          The problems what I faced are getting all files into order and connect correct voice file with correct video file. In addition, one of the problem I faced was to get good timing between the voice and the video but after few tutorials on YouTube I had learn how to use zoom on timeline and solved the problem. 

 

 

2.      What are the difference between the mics? 

 

-          The difference between the mics are the background noise. Camera mic is recording every single noise from the place where camera is standing for example in the reception for the camera mic you can hear the people walking around the lobby. For the lapel mic is much better but I think the recorded is too loud and the voice lost quality. For the Boom mic, everything is just perfect this is the best choice to pick when you have to record in public place where the cars driving around or people are walking and talking. 

 

 

3.     How is sound absorbed by each mic? What are the difference? How do the background surroundings make things different? 

 

-          The background surroundings makes different, because of background noise. You can hear people walking, cars driving or different background noises. When you using lapel mic or the boom mic you can just hear your-self. 

 

 

4.     Which mic is best suited for each environment? 

 

-          I think the best place to work with camera mic is a classroom because there is not much noise so nothing going to destroy your record and you don’t will get any background noises such as talking people or noise of road. For me the label mic is good to use everywhere, maybe the quality of the voice is not the best but the voice is very powerful and you can understand it more. Also you can always edit the record I Adobe Audition and get better quality by adding some filters to it. The boom mic is just perfect to use outside when you don’t want to record “noise of street” or any different noises. The boom mic is recording just the voices so it’s perfect for interviews, but I don’t like the size of this mic. I think it’s too big for using it in the classroom or small rooms. 

 

 

5.     What have you learnt about this task? 

 

-          In this task, I have learnt how to use correctly this three type of mic. I have learnt which one of this mics is the best to use in classroom, lobby or outside. I will be able to pick the correct mic for each situation in the future. Also, I have learnt how to use boom mic because it’s not easy to start recording by using it. I have learnt how to edit sound in Adobe Premier Pro, how to timing the video with the sound that the video does not play faster or slower then voice. I find this topic very useful and interesting
