The main impulse in the change of the curriculum is the changes in the social and scientific environment. Along with these changes, the needs of the new generation have also been shaped by environmental factors. The idea of raising the generation under a program that takes into account the individual differences of the students and includes plans for these differences rather than a society that only conveys knowledge has dominated. At the same time, the language of the new program has been kept simple and easy to understand.

Although the importance of educational philosophy has been mentioned a lot in the new program, a specific educational philosophy has not been explained. However, when we look at the content of the curriculum, we can see that it has almost the same features as the 2005 curriculum. General characteristics of the adopted educational philosophy include curiosity, innovative thinking, social and intellectual skills. the overall philosophy of the curriculum of all students published in Turkey also emphasizes the individuality and nationalized their point next to their homeland and society aims to develop as individuals supplying great respect and love. On the negative side, we can say that among the aims of this educational philosophy, there are no clear statements regarding the characteristics students hear now and will hear in the future.

The center of all curricula contains the values that every student should gain. These values are not a concept to be taught in writing separately from the main curricula. The curriculum designs these values in a way that they pass on to the student within the programs. For example, the ability of the student to comment, to think analytically, to have a critical perspective. The competencies and skills that are aimed to be acquired by students with the curriculum are communication in the mother tongue, communication in foreign languages, mathematics competence, science and technology competence, digital competence, learning to learn, taking initiative and entrepreneurship perception, social and public competences, cultural awareness and expression.

Also, the received programs being implemented in exactly the same way to the Turkish curriculum causes problems in the course of implementation to the students, because all societies have their own needs and cultural developments, and those programs have taken from abroad must be evolved according to the needs of Turkey. At the same time, there is no information about how the values mentioned in the curriculum can be associated with the lessons and how teachers will follow an evaluation method for these gains.

9-With the new curriculum revision an important step regarding English language teaching was also taken? What is it?

The important step that has taken regarding English language teaching was to increase the time that students take English classes. According to the regulation, besides the compulsory+4 optional lesson students could get English classes up to 18 hours a week in the fifth grade. The decision was up to parents and the circumstances of the schools. After the implementation and observation of the new regulation, it was decided that the course content was too intense and the course books were lack of sufficient visual aids. Also, the materials that had been used during the implementation were not enough and efficient. Furthermore, it has been detected that with these implementation schools would need more English language teachers and the ones at present must be more qualified educators.
<sup>
</sup>

I learned the educational values in detail. In addition, I learned the implementation that made on the English education. I think these values are important for students to have because education is not only about gaining information, it is something that contributes the development of individuals, and it directly effects the personality of students. The problem with the values is in the phase of integrating them to the natural advance of the specific class contents. As I understand, the new curriculum fails integrating those educational values to the learning programs. Also, another criticism that should be made is that not announcing those implementations to teachers clearly and explaining them specifically to make them easier to understand. It is certain that if those differences made in the curriculum do not announced properly in a way that teachers clearly understand and be ready to implement them, the changes written in the papers will not make any good for any educational system. The second knowledge I learned is the implementation about the teaching English. Increasing the time of exposure to English in a way makes a development in ones’ English knowledge. However, the issue with Turkey is not only about the time of exposure to language, it is about the “way, method” that has been used by the teachers. Thus, without changing the basis of English language teaching methods in Turkey, the aim of facilitating the English learning will not be achieved. What I would like to learn about, whether they are continuing to implement excessive exposure of English classes to some schools or not. Also, I wonder if they have taken into consideration the deductions of this implementation and teachers’ suggestions.
