Mercedes has expanded its portfolio to tap into the successful SUV and compact car markets. It has launched a host of new models in India in 2018 including the new E-Class All-Terrain estate wagon, Concept EQ, Mercedes-Benz S-Class Facelift, and Maybach S 650.  

Under New Gen category of Mercedes cars, now buyers have options to choose from A-Class, B-Class, and CLA. In Sedan type, C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and CLAs are available. Under SUV category, buyers can chose from GLA, GLC, GLE, GLE, GLS, and E-Class All-Terrain 4Matic. 

V-Class of Versatile Luxury Tourer and C-Cabriolet are other categories of cars available. In AMG category, buyers have many options like CLA 45 4Matic, GLA 45 4Matic, C 43 4Matic, SLC 43, GLC 43 4Matic, GLE 43, C 63 S, E 63 S 4Matic+, S 63, GLS 63 4Matic, G 63, GT Roadster, and GT R.

Embracing smart technologies
Distinctive innovation and advanced engineering in the new models of Mercedes set new standards for cars in its segment.  

The car-to-x technology in Mercedes cars allows the vehicles to adjust with the traffic infrastructure. Energizing comfort control improves passenger wellness by networking the vehicles climate controls, music, seat heating, massage programs, ambient lighting, and air freshness together. 

Intelligent drive system allows the car drive itself in some situations with the help of the enhanced radar systems, cameras, and software.  

The car is adept at steering, accelerating, and braking even without any input from the driver. It even adjusts its speed ahead of corners by leveraging navigation data. Curve-tilting features tilts the car body to the inside of corners and reduces the effects of jerks on the passengers. 

Dynamic select or dynamic body control allows the driver to change driving parameters at the touch of a switch with five different options from Comfort to Sport, Sport+, Individual, and Eco and the driver can customize these to suit the driving style. 

Other safety features are Attention Assist System, Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Stability Program, Acceleration Skid Control and an extensive protection system.

Mercedes-Benz Service on Wheels, Service Clinics, LuxeDrive, and AMG Emotional Tours are some of the customer service initiatives. 

Mercedes has launched Service on Wheels initiative with an aim to offer service at the doorstep of the customer in smaller towns and cities. This is the largest state-of-the-art digital service initiative by any car manufacturer in the country. 

Mercedes-Benz Luxe Drive Live is also a unique drive that gives customers a taste of the cars that Mercedes has to provide. The drive gives customers a chance to see what their car is truly capable of outside the confines of city traffic.
