The period between November 30, 2007, and May 25, 2008, saw seismic activity in Bukit Tinggi, located on the Selangor-Pahang border. The earthquakes, which ranged in magnitude from 1.7 to 3.7, were likely caused by underground geological movements, possibly due to fault activity in the region. As a result, the affected area may have experienced minor tremors, leading to concerns among residents and local authorities. This seismic activity could have prompted increased monitoring efforts and further geological studies to understand the underlying causes and potential risks associated with future tremors in the area.
