From the Becky Walker video, I learned that the borders of Palestine and Israel change all the time and no one under the age of 45 can cross the boarder. I was shocked to learn that Mrs. Walker's car was blown up because it was on the boarder of Palestine and Israel, which had changed. I was also shocked that they didn't have anesthetic in Palestine and that Mrs. Walker was talking about the bombing she saw like it was okay, like it was normal. Now that I have watched this interview, one thing I appreciate is all of the jobs and food we have in America. Some people live like the people in Palestine, but my life has always been more like the side of Israel, with medicine and many opportunities.

One thing that shocked me was the inconsistency of the border time, sometimes it was twenty minutes and sometimes eight hours. Another thing that shocked me was the blown up car near the border. A final shock was that you had to be forty five years old to cross the border at all.
The first thing I learned was how dramatic of a change there was between the countries, Israel was developed while Palestine was almost a slum. Another thing I learned was there was very little technology available in Palestine.
One thing I appreciate now is the freedom to simply move around, you don't have to be forty five or wait for an immense amount of time to just move out of a tiny area.

I learned about the percentage of Hamous terrorist are in Palestine. I appreciate and got a whole new understanding of family live in Palestine and how different it is here like they devote everything to their families and I though that was amazing.

The three things that shocked me were the dramatic difference between Jerusalem and Palestine, the fact that authorities can and will change the border, and the way the homes were stacked on top of one another. One thing that I learned were that as a result of technology, families spent a lot of their time just being together, via eating and other varies activities. The second thing I learned was that the Gaza Strip is only 25 by 4 miles. One thing that I appreciate now is how available transportation is here in the United States. A mother going into labor died because transportation couldn't get to her and she was not able to cross the border to get to medical assistance. That's intense.

You can't take a Ghaza car into the Isreal area without getting a lot of suspicious looks and harsh interrogating from the soldiers around border patrol.
3. There is some family patriarchy in Ghaza where the oldest man would decide the major issues within the family.

Learned:
1. I learned that the Ghaza people are more family oriented and would rather socialize with one another when the evening approaches, since they don't have a lot of technology.
2. I also learned that Israel was a lot more technologically and architecturally developed than Ghaza with a lot of skyscrapers and popular cities.

Appreciation:
1. I appreciate the amount of technology, like laptops and phones, that are at my disposal, along with the toys and materials I was blessed with, when I compared my life to those in Ghaza.
