         <description><![CDATA[<div>Members:Rodger Chaffee, Ed White, and Gus Grissom were all part of Apollo 1. <br>Mission Objective:During a preflight test on January 27, 1967, tradgedy struck the Apollo 1 mission when a fire inside the space capsule caused the death of the three astronauts slated to travel to the moon <br>Launch Date:February 21, 1967.<br>Orbit time: no time. <br>Mission Activity: Collect samples and tests to learn about space. <br>Moon Landing: They did not land on the moon, they didn't even make it off the ground. </div>]]></description>

The mission was aported after two days. <br>Moon Landing: None, it didn't make it there. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Members: Gene Cernan, Ronald Evans, and Harrison Schmitt. <br>Mission Objectives: To explore and sample the materials and surface features at Taurus-Littrow. To set up and activate experiments on the lunar surface for long-term relay of data. To conduct inflight experiments and photographic tasks.<br>Launch Date: December 7, 1972.<br>Orbit Time: 12 days. <br>Activities: NASA astronauts traversed the greatest distance using the Lunar Roving Vehicle (30 km) and returned the greatest amount of rock and soil samples (110 kg). The mission carried the only trained geologist to walk on the lunar surface, Harrison Schmitt.<br>Moon Landing: <strong>Apollo 17 was</strong> the last<strong>Apollo</strong> mission to <strong>land</strong> men on the <strong>Moon</strong>. </div>]]></description>
