Shang Dynasty ( 1700-1122 BCE)

The first ruling Dynasty in ancient China was the Shang Dynasty. The Shang are very famous for their use of bronze. They also learned a system of writing. The Shang made their rule stronger when they enacted the Mandate Of Heaven. During this time they started to learn about Religion and because of this, they had gods who decided everything because of the Mandate Of Heaven the Shang went left and the Zhou became the next rulers.

Zhou Dynasty: (1045-256 BCE)

During this time many things happened. First, there were many achievements. One of their achievements was they started building roads and started taxing people. During this time they started to make the Great Wall of China. Then the bad news during this time the Warring States Period started in time the Emperor had less power than some high officials and they went to war for power. When all of this happened there was a man named Confucius who was born and then he made the religion Confucianism. Also Daoism was made and was a very popular religion during this waring period. At the very end of this Warring Period Legalism developed and making political matters not as violent or worse than it should be because of this the Warring Period ended because people used the mandate of heaven to make the Qin the new rulers of China.

Qin Dynasty: (221-210 BCE)

During this time the Great Wall of China was finally fully developed and it was named the Great Wall Of China. Also during this time, they made writing way better than it was before. During this time they invented umbrellas so that they wouldn't get hit by rain and it is even used today. Also, the Terracotta Army was buried with emperor Qin and made it a national history site. Then people used the Mandate Of Heaven after 11 years because they were that bad at ruling.

Han Dynasty: (206 BCE-220 CE)

There was a man named Liu Bang who hated the Qin and then they had a war with Liu winning the war. After, they made a few changes to the government like civil service. They also made sure that the smartest rulers would rule the land and this lasted for 2000 years. After, 400 years they were kicked out after the people used the Mandate Of Heaven, and after many people went on to rule China but these four Dynastys are the founders of China and made China what it is today.
