Treasure, that is what you are
Honey, you're my golden star
You know you can make my wish come true
If you let me treasure you

This song is a connection to Act 1 Scene 3 because Othello shows everyone that he loves and treasures Desdemona and she loves him too. Othello trusts Desdemona and will leave her while he goes to war with the Turks. The feeling of the song is happy and so is this scene Othello is marrying someone he loves. The theme hasn't developed yet.

We are the champions, my friends
And we'll keep on fighting till the end
We are the champions, we are the champions
No time for losers

This song is a connection to Act 2 Scene 1 because this is when Othello and his army returns from the war as champions. They defeated the Turks. They fought till the end even though the storm was disastrous. The feeling of the song is happy and so is this scene, Othello returns as a champion and his wife is also standing on the shore waiting for him. The three main theme's that we talked about don't really develop till the end of this act.

Okay, maybe, cause jealousy make a man go crazy

This song is a connection to Act 3, Scene 3 because this is when Iago is telling Othello to kill Cassio but let Desdemona live, but Othello goes crazy, calls her a whore and wants to think of a way to kill her. Othello is jealous and not even his best friend can stop him from trying to kill Cassio and Desdemona. The feeling of the song is angry/harsh and Othello was angry when Iago was talking about sparing Desdemona's life.

They're rotting my brain, love
These hoes are the same

I admit it, another hoe got me finished
Broke my heart, oh no you didn't

This song is a connection to Act 4 Scene 2 because in the song Juice World is complaining that all hoes are the same and they are rotting his brain. In this scene Othello is complaining how unfaithful Desdemona is to him, and how she is putting him through a hard time. She is rotting his brain with jealousy. The feeling of this song is sad and so is this Scene because Othello says, "Oh, I wish you'd never been born", to Desdemona. Appearance vs. reality also plays a role in this scene because to Othello Desdemona appears to be cheating on him but in reality she's faithful to him.

Push me to the edge
All my friends are dead
Push me to the edge
All my friends are dead
Push me to the edge

This song is a connection to Act 5, Scene 2 when Othello stabs himself. He stabs himself because all his friends are dead and that pushed him to the edge. The feeling of the song is sad and during Scene 2 of Act 5 Othello's best friend Desdemona died, this happened because Othello was tricked into thinking that Cassio had sex with his wife, and this made him jealous. Jealousy corrupted Othello.
